Integrative Psychotherapy - EMDR Therapy - Couples Counselling - Supervision
Welcome, I'm Jane
I’m Jane, a BACP accredited therapist with extensive experience supporting adults through anxiety, overwhelm, relationship difficulties, trauma and significant life changes.
Sometimes life can become overwhelming. You might feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected from yourself or simply unsure how to move forward. Or perhaps you are struggling with a harsh inner critic that's stopping you from living life to it's fullest.
You may be someone who is used to coping, caring for others and keeping everything together, but is finding that anxiety, exhaustion, grief or past experiences are becoming harder to manage.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and trauma-informed. I pay attention not only to what you’re thinking and feeling, but also to how experiences may continue to show up in your body, relationships and everyday life.
I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties including;
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Childhood trauma
- Abuse
- Trauma/PTSD
- Burnout & overwhelm
- Romantic relationships/Heartbreak/Dating
- Grief & loss
- Pregnancy/infertility/birth
- Life changes
Trauma-informed, experienced relational therapy
How I work
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest and understood rather than judged.
My approach is collaborative, relational and trauma-informed. I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels right for you, rather than expecting you to fit into one particular way of working.
My training in EMDR, complex trauma, attachment and couples work also informs how I work with individuals. In particular, I draw on an attachment-focused perspective when exploring how earlier relationships and experiences may continue to influence anxiety, relationships and the way you see yourself.
I work at your pace, with curiosity and compassion, helping you to understand yourself more deeply while also finding practical ways to create change.

You don't have to carry it alone
You may have spent a long time managing things by yourself, being the person others rely on and putting your own needs somewhere further down the list. You don't need to know exactly what you need from therapy before you get in touch. I'm happy to talk through what's bringing you to therapy and whether I might be the right therapist for you.
